Recently 62 Monash University students undertook Global Immersion Guarantee (GIG) in Indonesia - a two-week immersive international learning experience. This program is a fieldwork elective unit worth 12 credit points, that takes the students to one of six countries at the end of their first year.
Zoe De Paola is a student Business Communication student at Monash University who participated in the GIG Program in Indonesia. She explained to Sri Dean what the GIG Program is and described her experiences while she was in Indonesia.
