Meet Big Knickers, the steer too big for the slaughterhouse

Standing 194 centimetres and weighing a whopping 1.4 tonnes, Knickers is believed to be Australia's biggest steer.

Towering over the rest of the herd at a farm in Western Australia, Knickers the Holstein Friesian is unofficially Australia's biggest steer. 

While farmer Geoff Pearson says he would produce steaks "too big to fit on the plate", Knicker is too big for the slaughterhouse. 

"He was unable to fit into the supply chain so Knickers lives on," Mr Pearson told Perth Now.
