
The museum is an amusement facility consisting of four elements. For example, kids can play with unko, poo, in the "Unko Plaza" and grown ups can take "instaworthy" photos with colourful unko in the section called the "Un-stagenic Area".
Kayac, one of the two companies which opens the museum, has been focusing attention on the potential of poo as a commnication tool. Poo has been introduced to social media as one of the emojis.
Kyac has realeased an arithmetic learning application for primary school students in 2011. The app is called Unko Enzan and features poo in arithmetic quizes.
In Japan, a kanji (Chinese characters) learning workbook for primary school students called Unko Kanji Drill became a big hit in 2017.
