He may be technically a prince, but the Duke of Sussex has proved he's king of the kids on Sydney's Cockatoo Island.
As wife Meghan stood by Prince Harry enthusiastically tried his hand at driving remote control cars on grassy terrain with three young boys on Saturday, including 13-year-old Danyon Jones from Ballina.
A chuckling prince enthusiastically pursued the boys' cars with his own calling out "alright I'm coming, I'll catch you," while sporting a giant grin.
The pursuit ended in a collision that flipped both cars, prompting one of the boys, six-year-old Aiden from the Netherlands, to run out to right the crash.
However, he left Prince Harry's car unturned leaving the royal to do his own work.
"Oh, thanks mate," a laughing Harry cried out before awarding the three boys medals for their performances on the track.
While Prince Harry's easy sense of humour impressed Danyon, it was a joke Meghan cracked when she opted out of driving that stole the show.
"She was saying 'yeah I'll have a go but I'll probably crash it into the fence and put it in the water," Danyon said.
"She was really nice, she was funny."
Danyon's father Jaime Tanner will represent the Australian Invictus team in wheelchair rugby and basketball.
The 2018 games will be the first time Mr Tanner's children will watch him compete as an Invictus warrior, and while they were excited to see their dad in action - the royal couple were also a big draw card, according to mum Leesa Kiwok.
"For months and months the kids have been saying will we get to meet them (Harry and Meghan) and we kept saying you'll see them but you most probably won't get to meet them," she laughed.
"This is just extraordinary."
The newly-married royals were on Cockatoo Island to cheer on competitors in the Invictus Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge.
The event was won by the team from France, with Australian duo Craig McGrath and Scott Reynolds taking home a silver medal.
The Aussie pair were handed their medals by a beaming Duchess, who matched a pair of Mother jeans and a white Altazarra blazer with an Invictus Games t-shirt.
Meghan was pulled into prime position for a photo with the three winning teams following the medal ceremony, as Prince Harry peered out from behind their shoulders to laughter from the crowd.
