2000 candles illuminate Canberra Nara candle festival

A celebration of the sister-city relationship, the Canberra Nara Candle Festival was held over the weekend, with 2,000 candles lit — inspired by Japan’s Nara Tokae Festival. Canberra also hosted the Australian Masters Games, which attracted more than 7,000 participants.
