22nd Japan Festival in Melbourne: Behind the scenes and its history

This year's theme continues to be tsumugu - meaning to weave, symbolising the bringing together of the Australian and Japanese cultures. Following on from last year's event, there is also a picture letter contest, with many entrants coming from Matsudo in Chiba prefecture, Japan, sister-city of Whitehorse city Victoria. We spoke to Keiko Davies, chairperson of the organising committee.
