Hanako Ogawa, a veterinarian working on Sydney’s North Shore, moved to Australia in 2005 to fulfil her childhood dream of living overseas. Having previously worked as a veterinarian in Japan, Ogawa now primarily focuses on emergency and palliative care. This story was first published in November 2021.
