Angus Taylor becomes Liberal leader as Sussan Ley announces retirement

Angus Taylor has replaced Sussan Ley as Leader of the Federal Opposition following a leadership spill in the Liberal party room this morning. Mr Taylor defeated Ms Ley 34 votes to 17 in the ballot. Shortly afterwards, Ms Ley announced her retirement from politics.
