Sakura Shimizu entered the Hamburg Ballet School, graduating in 1994. Upon graduation Sakura joined the Hamburg Ballet. In 2002 Sakura joined Singapore Dance Theatre. Currently Sakura is teaching ballet to a wide variety of students in Melbourne, from beginners to professionals. In the interview, Sakura speaks about her passion for ballet, her motto, and what she considers the most important aspects of teaching ballet dancing.
