Bipartisan anger erupts over 'rotten' 'New' US tariff plan

The United States has proposed new tariffs against 60 trading partners, including Japan and Australia, alleging they have failed to implement and enforce bans on forced labor in their supply chains. The Australian government denies these claims, stating that the proposed 12.5% import tariff violates free trade agreements.
