Cyclone Alfred: Parts of NSW and Queensland bracing for damaging winds, heavy rainfall

"It's not impossible, it is unusual, and it's important that people be ready for it". For the first time since 1974, a cyclone will cross the south-east Queensland coast this week as a category one or two storm.
