To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the war's end, a contemporary Noh play “The Holy Mother of Nagasaki” was performed in Sydney. We spoke with a renowned Noh actor Kanji Shimizu, who portrayed the entirely different two roles of the spirit of an atomic bomb victim and the Virgin Mary on stage.
