Kumamoto is one of the prefectures located on the island of Kyushu in Japan. Kumamoto was hit by two big earthquakes last April and the reconstruction efforts are underway. Japanese university students studying English in Sydney have decided to hold a charity event called "Pray for Kumamoto" on the 15th of this month to support the people affected by the earthquakes. Hideya Kuroki, Taisuke Yokota, Kosuke Kato hope the event will become not only a good charity event to raise funds but also a great opportunity for people in Sydney to know more about the area.
