The first of two scheduled election debates has taken place on 8th April in Western Sydney.
Prime minister and the Opposition leader have used the first leaders' debate of the federal election campaign - hosted by Sky News - to promote their policies responding to cost-of-living pressures, bulk billing, immigration and renewable energy.
