Smokers soon to butt out in Sydney's second largest Central Business District.
The North Sydney Council has passed the motion to ban smoking in CBD this week. It is now under community consultation. When the council finishes consultation by December, North Sydney will be the first metropolitan CBD in Australia to ban smoking in public places.
There are mixed reactions from the wider community, including the North Sydney councilor Sam Gunning.
