Yusuke Fukuda dreamed of becoming a crocodile researcher ever since he saw a TV program about the giant reptiles during his first year of high school in Tokyo. He shares with SBS Japanese his insights from working as a wildlife scientist for the Northern Territory Government for 15 years.  This story was first published in June 2022.
