Born to South Sudanese parents in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, Awer Mabil moved to Australia at the age of ten. Now representing his country at a second World Cup, he says his play for the Socceroos is a reflection of the gratitude he, and many in his position, feel towards Australia.
