Heisei Era, which is set to come to an end on April 30th, has seen a number of Japanese animation going global. What's your favourite anime film of all time?


Japanese anime has evolved throughout Heisei era started in January 1989. Back then, animators used traditional hand drawing technique. Now most films are made primarily with the help of digital technology to render computer generated (CG) animations in high definitions (HD).

It has only been 30 years, but Japanese anime industry has seen an enormous change.
