Australia loses an estimated $36 billion a year due to food waste, and the shortage of landfill space is becoming an increasingly urgent issue. In this report, we introduce a female entrepreneur who is tackling the problem with an innovative solution — transforming food waste into high-value protein and animal feed using black soldier fly larvae.
