Kimitoshi Yamane visited Sydney as a special guest for the Sydney Manga and Anime Show (SMASH!) 2024. Mr Yaname thinks that robotic anime genre is a speciality of Japanese animation and also a part of Japanese culture to be passed on.

Mr Yamane is a well-known mechanical designer especially for his works for animation series such as Cowboy Bebop and Gundam series.
