Inaugural Japanese festival in the Blue Mountains, a new gathering for everyone

Ayaka Thompson, who has young children and a chronic illness, finds it difficult to travel far to attend Japanese festivals in Sydney. This month, she is organising a Japanese festival in the Blue Mountains NSW, where she lives, to enjoy Japanese culture with local residents.
