"I also would like to support Japanese children in learning English through tennis lessons as I did while growing up."


Chihiro Akimoto manages a tennis school for Japanese people in Melbourne, providing them with tennis lessons either in Japanese or English. 

With experience on the professional tennis tour, Chihiro has been giving tennis lessons to young children. 

In the audio, Chihiro tells us about the "golden age" for children from 9 to 12 years old for sporting skills improvement as well as coordination training, and gives advice for parents on how to support their children during their sporting skills development.
