Japanese guitarist Toshiki Soejima shot to stardom after being cited by the legendary British virtuoso Eric Clapton, as one of the most prominent of the new wave of guitarists.
The 34-year-old’s first Australia and New Zealand tour is set to kick off later this month.
Ahead of the tour, Toshiki shared with SBS Japanese how he began his musical journey, the history behind neo-soul music, and his message for the fans Down Under.
