Mr. Kazuo Takemura has been running a Wagyu butcher shop in Melbourne, hoping to contribute to raising the profile of Wagyu in Australia. He came to Australia 49 years ago. He speaks about what brought him to Australia, and popularity of Wagyu beef among people in Melbourne in recent years.  


Mr.Takemura tells us that those who go to Japan as students or tourists try Gyudon, Okonomiyaki, Sukiyaki, Shabu-shabu, and Yakiniku, come to his shop for Wagyu beef, seeking the taste they have experienced after their return to Australia.
