Japan Cricket Association is based in Sano, Tochigi to promote cricket in Japan. They have gradually resumed cricket activities suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. JCA's co-ordinator, Mr Naotsune Miyaji talked about the development of cricket in the country.


Cricket is not a major sport in japan. However, their U19 national squad reached ICC U19 World Cup last year. Japan Premier League resumed in July. A new genuine cricket stadium in Kaizuka, Osaka is expected to encourage participation in the sport in western Japan.
