Jobless Australians face tough choices as support is slashed

The JobSeeker welfare payment has been reduced, as the federal government turns its focus to repairing the economy. Critics say the changes will affect millions of Australia's most vulnerable people.


Australians relying on the government's income support payments will get a further shock on Monday 28 September, with the JobKeeper wage subsidy winding back from 1500 dollars a fortnight to 1200 dollars for full-time workers.
