It's confirmed. Japanese superstar Keisuke Honda will leave Melbourne Victory.


The club announced on its official homepage on Tuesday. Honda's last game will be AFC Asian Championship League match against Japan's Sanfrecce Hiroshima held on May 22nd.

Honda has made 23 appearances this season, scoring 8 times. Though he suffered hamstring injury during the season, he has gained plaudits for his incredible performance on the pitch.

The last match to see Honda in the Victory uniform is scheduled to kick off at 8pm (AEST).
