Natasha Marshall Teoh studied Japanese in Sydney during her secondary and tertiary education, subsequently spending some time in Japan through an exchange programme, the JET Programme, and employment at a Japanese law firm in Osaka. She now practises as a solicitor in Sydney. Natasha told us how encountering Japan and learning the language profoundly shaped her life.
