Hajimu Ashida, a Japanese Paralympic athlete who won the bronze medal at the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016, came to Sydney this year and had his first ever independent training abroad for a month.
Hajimu won the bronze medal for men’s 4x100m relay and is also a strong long jumper. Hajimu said that 2018 will be a year to continue his preparations so as to win at the Tokyo Paralympic Games in 2020.
