Japanese-Australian punk rock trio Mach Pelican is set to tour Japan next month, marking its first Japanese tour in nearly 20 years. Formed in Perth in 1996, the band has also released its first new single in two decades. Drummer Toshi Maeda has spent years building connections between Japan's and Australia's independent music scenes by introducing artists in both countries.
