Master Chef meets Hunger Games? Sydney-based Japanese soprano singer landed in a "fighter cook" role in a new contemporary Australian opera

Ms. Ayako Ohtake will appear in a contemporary comedy opera called "Chop Chef," and play the role of former-champion Victoria who won the deadly cooking competition last time.

"Chop Chef" is a contemporary comedy opera and in the setting, six contestants from around Australia fight for their lives in a fictional reality television series Chop Chef.

In the audio, Ms. Ohtake explains the story-line of "Chop Chef" and the charms of the contemporary opera.  She also talks about her character Victoria, who Ms. Ohtake thinks is very opposite to herself.

Ms Ohtake immigrated to Australia in 2016.
