New laws around medicinal cannabis and driving come into effect in Victoria

Drivers who use medicinal cannabis in Victoria will no longer be subject to automatic licence bans under a new law coming into effect in the state.

From the first of March, motorists in Victoria will have the opportunity to argue in court that they weren't impaired while driving.
