On a sunny sunday morning, thousands of people woke up early to take part in this year's Melbourne Marathon, whether running or just cheering the runners on the road. There were entrants of all ages and abilities participating together to run, jog, walk, and wheel in the centre of Melbourne. Many Japanese came to Melbourne specifically for this event, they shared their stories with SBS.
