Mie Kimura, a Sydneysider from Japan, had stayed in Iran with her family in the 1970s and came to Sydney in 1984. She been calling Sydney home for over 40 years. Credit: Mie Kimura
Mie Kimura came to Sydney in 1984 with her husband, who was posted there, and their four children. Prior to moving to Sydney, she had spent around four years in Iran during the 1970s. Now Ms Kimura is in her 80s, she looks back on her life in Sydney and her time in the ancient Iranian city of Isfahan.
