Mie Kimura came to Sydney in 1984 with her husband, who was posted there, and their four children. Prior to moving to Sydney, she had spent around four years in Iran during the 1970s. Now Ms Kimura is in her 80s, she looks back on her life in Sydney and her time in the ancient Iranian city of Isfahan.
