Opposition says budget doesn't address root cause of inflation

Labor will deliver a second consecutive surplus for the first time in three decades.

Balance is the key to this year's Federal Budget.

The budget tried to walk a fine line of trying to tackle inflation, whilst providing cost of living relief.

Opposition treasurer Angus Taylor says it doesn't address the root cause of the issue.
