KENTARO!! and his dance company, Tokyo Electrock Stairs, are known for their unique datsuryoku-kei (脱力系; ennui-style) works where slice of life meets hip-hop and contemporary dance.

KENTARO!! is a Japan-based dancer and choreographer. He started learning street dance when he was 13 years old and decided to become professional when he was in high school. KENTARO!! visited Sydney this July to both perform and hold a workshop as part of the Japan Foundation’s program titled SPACE & ENNUI: Japanese Contemporary Dance Showcase.
