Are you struggling to teach Japanese to your kids? Let's connect online.

"As Japanese, I want my kids to learn Japanese language and culture as well as English", many Japanese parents living in Australia are thinking.

However, their children are growing up in an English language environment. For some of them, it is too difficult to keep motivated for learning Japanese.
Yukiko Iguchi aka "Science Mum" of J-Kids LAB has been introducing the kids-science, which uses children's five senses.

After COVID-19 pandemic, she lost the opportunity to meet children in person, but she found the possibility to connect between Japanese families.
Online is not the negative or alternative way to learn something. It has a positive aspect to connect people who live in the distance
Now, Yukiko's crowdfunding project is going on.
She plans to set up "J-Kids LAB Japanese Academy."

Her plan focuses on output type education rather than input type education like other schools.
Such as introduce themselves in Japanese or online meeting using only Japanese. Yukiko told us that the opportunities would make the children have a motivated attitude.
Language is built up with "need" and "opportunity". The challenge is how we can give them to children.
