JTCS caters especially for Japanese elderly people.
During his work, Takafumi realised that language barriers and cultural hesitation often prevent Japanese seniors from asking for help and using Australian public services.
After spending decades in Australia, some of them decided to go back to Japan to receive support they thought not available in Australia.
JTCS now holds a monthly small gathering called 'Salon for Seniors' to explain how the Australian aged care system works and answer their questions for free.
Takafumi tells us how he launched JTCS in Sydney, and what he would like to achieve in the future.
