Qantas announces a cut of at least 6,000 jobs

Qantas has announced it will cut at least 6,000 jobs across all areas of the business as part of its plan to save $15 billion over the next three years. Another 15,000 employees will continue to be stood down without pay over the coming months, and around 100 of Qantas’ fleet will be grounded for up to a year.
