Rebuilding Noh stage to unearth memories of the war and to strengthen friendship between Australia and Japan

Dr Tets Kimura will give a lecture on Japanese Noh and War Art in Cowra as part of an event which reconstructs a Noh stage at the Japanese garden in Cowra , NSW. The stage is considered to be the only existing Noh stage in Australia and New Zealand.


Dr Kimura originally studied Fashion. Then an unexpected "accident" opened the door for him to the War Art by Japanese POW and civilian internees in Australia.
