Australia - Japan 2+2 Foreign and Defence Ministerial Consultations were held in Sydney on October 10th.


Foreign Minister Marise Payne and Defence Minister Christopher Pyne have been meeting their Japanese counterparts to discuss trade and security of the Asia-Pacific region. The leaders are calling on the United States and China to improve their bilateral relationship, and saying they will continue to pressure North Korea to denuclearise.
