Report reveals many more jobseekers than jobs

A new report by Anglicare, the Jobs Snapshot, analysed how many jobs were available for people with significant barriers to employment, such as older people and the long-term unemployed.

There are now eight disadvantaged jobseekers for every entry-level position across Australia, according to a new report by Anglicare.

Since the pandemic, that figure has risen significantly and older Australians are disproportionately affected.
