Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has confirmed 34 Australians are missing after catastrophic flash floods along the Nepa -Tibet border. The Middle East conflict has taken a $420 million Australian dollar bite out of Qantas's annual earnings, as higher fuel prices and flight disruptions weighed on the airline. Australia’s annual inflation rate has eased to 3.5 per cent, down from 3.8 per cent in June. News from today's live program (1-2pm).
