Defence Minister Richard Marles has confirmed that Australia is not involved in the current military action against Iran. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is visiting Australia and will meet with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to discuss strengthening security and economic ties. And in sport, with fewer than 100 days to go until the FIFA World Cup begins, Iran’s participation in the tournament remains uncertain.
