The head of the Parliament’s National Security Commission of Iran, Ebrahim Azizi, has dismissed the announcement by President Donald Trump of an imminent US naval blockade of ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz. The Australian government says it is not considering sending ships to the Strait of Hormuz, after President Donald Trump says other nations would be involved in a US blockade on the waterway.
