The United Nations has urged Israel and Hamas to uphold their ceasefire in Gaza. Hamas has blamed Israeli actions for its decision to pause the exchange of hostages, while Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to withdraw from the deal and ordered the military to get into position in Gaza.
