Meta has begun limiting certain accounts ahead of the official start of the Social Media Ban on 10 December. Platforms that violate the law could face fines of up to 50 million dollars. Israeli media say Yasser Abu Shabab, a Bedouin tribal leader who led an anti-Hamas faction in Gaza, has been killed in Rafah. The European Broadcasting Union has confirmed that Israel will be allowed to take part in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Recorded 5 December.
