Naohiro Kobayashi , Rena Komatsu , and Taichi Kitamura are students from Tohoku University in Japan. They visited Sydney this month with other students as a part of the university's short-term overseas program and participated in the charity event for the East Japan Earthquake, held on the 11th of March, six years after the disaster. Naohiro, Rena, and Taichi were junior high school students in Miyagi Prefecture when the earthquake struck. Participating in the Sydney event gave the three an opportunity not only to explain the beauty of the Tohoku area but also to share their own memories of the earthquake with others.
