"I hope that more Japanese women decide to go abroad to open up their possibilities and show what they are capable of."

Ms. Kimiyo Aizawa, a Sydney-based Japanese business student, launched a start-up called WOMENCANFLY.CO to help women to take their first step abroad.

"As most women do, I got bombarded by questions like 'Don't you want to get married?' 'Did you give up having kids?', when I got more serious about my work and wanted to do something to cultivate my career," Ms. Aizawa said.

"It took a year for me to come to Sydney.   But I know that I'm kinda lucky one because so many women in Japan just give up when they face this kind of situation (work or marriage)."

In Sydney, Ms. Aizawa saw many women are pursuing their careers while starting a family.  She thought that this is something she wants to see in Japan.

In order to celebrate this month's International Women's Day (the 8th), WOMENCANFLY.CO is offering four free online seminars designed for women who "need a push" to take their first step to grow their careers.
