That trend will continue as the venue recovers from the effects of the pandemic.


Since the venue's closure it has hosted over 50 events, all performed to empty auditoriums but viewed by millions online. 

Figures released by Opera House management show that over 31 weeks, live streams have received more than six million views globally.


People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others. Check your state’s restrictions on gathering limits.
